1. Acceptance

By creating an account, purchasing, or using Glass Overlay (the Mac app, iPad/ iPhone apps, and web portal — the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Glass Overlay lets you record, annotate, and produce podcast/video sessions, including hosting guests and broadcasting to viewers. Features and limits vary by plan (Free / Standard / Pro / Enterprise).

3. Accounts

You're responsible for your account and for activity under it. Provide accurate info and keep credentials secure.

4. Payment, plans & usage

  • Subscriptions (Mac + companion) are billed by our merchant of record
  • Paddle. iOS in-app purchases (e.g., watermark removal) are billed by Apple.

  • Plans include a monthly allowance of live-video data; **usage beyond the
  • allowance requires pre-paid credit**. Sessions may pause cloud features when credit is exhausted (local recording is unaffected).

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime effective
  • at the end of the billing period.

  • Refunds: `[state your policy — e.g., 14-day refund for subscriptions per
  • Paddle's buyer terms; pre-paid usage credit is non-refundable once consumed; iOS purchases are governed by Apple's refund process]`.

5. Your content & recordings

  • You own your content. You grant us a limited license to host, process,
  • transmit, store, and deliver it solely to operate the Service for you.

  • Recording responsibility (critical). You are solely responsible for
  • obtaining the consent of everyone you record and for complying with all recording, privacy, and wiretap laws (many jurisdictions require all-party consent). You represent that you have those rights and consents. You will indemnify us against claims arising from recordings you make. See the Recording Consent notice.

  • You're responsible for backing up your recordings; retention is limited
  • (see Privacy Policy).

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to: break the law; record people without required consent; infringe IP or privacy; transmit malware; abuse, overload, scrape, or circumvent limits/billing of the Service or its providers (incl. Cloudflare); or resell the Service without authorization. Enterprise users running their own Cloudflare account remain bound by these terms.

7. Our IP

The Service, software, and brand are ours (or our licensors'). These Terms grant no rights in them except to use the Service per your plan. The Glass Overlay apps are also subject to the EULA.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (Cloudflare, Paddle, Apple). Their terms/ availability may affect the Service; we're not liable for their acts/outages.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that recordings will never be lost or corrupted. [Jurisdiction-specific consumer rights may apply and are not waived where they can't be.]

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST RECORDINGS/DATA/ PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE [12] MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend/terminate for breach, non-payment, or abuse. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; recording retention follows the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes posted here with a new effective date. Continued use means acceptance.

13. Governing law & disputes
